En-trak has won up to US$1 million in investment from the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund’s Jumpstarter 2017 competition. En-trak has beaten 600 competitors in this year’s competition to emerge as one of the three winners of this event.

Jumpstarter is the biggest entrepreneur program in Hong Kong led by Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, Cyberport Management Company and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corp. The program supports start-ups and entrepreneurs committed to doing business in Hong Kong. Nearly 600 business plans were pitched by over 2,000 applicants, and only the top three finalists each will receive up to US$1 million of investment from Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund.

The final six teams made the final pitches on Tuesday, getting 8 minutes to talk about their products and then 4 minutes of questioning by the judging panel. They were evaluated based on their innovation, community impact, market potential and financial performance.
