Head of Product Development

As the Head of Product, you will work with our senior level stakeholders and act as the Scrum Product Owner within our development teams. You are responsible for envisioning, planning and implementation of our product lifecycle. You’ll have an in-depth understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and Agile methodologies.

Your responsibilities include:

• to lead the team of engineers to deliver required software engineering according to timeline
• Work closely with the Product Owner and Design Lead to understand our customer behavior and needs
• translate requirements from stakeholders into product features and assign technical tasks to the engineering team.
• to manage the engineering team to maintain high standard of quality in terms of their technical output, timeliness and scalability
• manage the prioritization of features on a backlog and roadmap throughout the product development lifecycle.
• obtain sign-off from senior stakeholders on newly developed features.
• create weekly reports showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.

We expect you to have:

• at least 5 years of strong product management background in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• flexibility and capable of working with all areas of the business across multiple regions
• strong technical credentials – the ability to hold your own when speaking to developers
• effective stakeholder management with leadership in a matrixed organization
• the ability to pull people together to help solve a problem
• generation of innovative product ideas and concepts which meet and exceed business and product strategies
• agile methodology, working as a Product Owner within Scrum and / or Kanban teams
• use of quantitative and qualitative research methods to drive product definition
