Bossini Enterprises Limited

Enhancing corporate green initiative and improve their ESG reporting efficiency

Background

As an international retail firm recognizing itself as a caring and responsible corporate citizen, Bossini has been actively undertaking a variety of corporate social responsibility programs over the years to give back to the community. Faced with the rising trend in sustainable business and reporting, Bossini was seeking ways to step up their sustainability efforts and promote their corporate reputation.

Challenge

Similar to other listed companies, Bossini was in search for a more systematic and efficient method to collect their energy consumption data with an aim to comply with the mandatory Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting requirements. Their challenge was to ensure data accuracy given their existing manual approach in data collection. At the same time, they hoped to step up their efforts in energy conservation and reduce carbon emissions but were lacking the know-how.

Solution

En-trak Energy was set up to automatically collect all energy consumption data in Bossini’s office. Graphs generated from the system helped the administration team gain visibility into their staff’s actual energy behavior.

Outcome

Leveraging En-trak’s auto-reporting function, Bossini has greatly enhanced their reporting efficiency and data accuracy. Along with instantaneous energy alerts, they have ensured strict implementation of their overnight power off policy and achieved substantial energy savings.
